Diego Knows is a New York native, Co-Founder of Cut-Line Records, and a global ambassador of house music. Growing up immersed in New York City’s vibrant underground scene, Diego’s musical journey was ignited by a life-changing experience at Pacha NYC. Late nights at this iconic club intro- duced him to pulsating techno, tribal drums, and electrifying electro sounds, fueling his passion for music and inspiring his creative exploration as an artist.

By his late teens, Diego was already producing tracks influenced by the sensory overload of NYC nightlife—the dazzling lights, infectious beats, and deep connections formed on the dance floor. These formative experiences shaped a sound that seamlessly blends funk, disco, house, techno, and minimal with the raw energy of the underground.

After a decade of refining his craft, Diego first launched Cut-Line as an events and artist managment company, debuting at the legendary NY venue Output. He regularly performed at notable spots such as the Panther Room & The Roof at Output, Bushwick A/V, Nublu and TBA Brooklyn, where he

has maintained residency since launching FUNKY PEOPLE party series with Sergio Santos and Jeremy Ismael in 2017. Diego later took his talents to clubs worldwide, with annual appearances at Vancouver’s Gorgomish, Istanbul’s Minimuzukhol, and Lisbon’s Carmo Rooftop, along with other top venues across the United States and abroad.

As a producer, Diego collaborates with his lifelong friend Maják, releasing music on renowned labels such as Yoyaku, Decay, and Street King. Their partnership showcases a seamless fusion of groove-heavy rhythms and intricate production, earning them recognition within the global underground scene. Their sound can be best described as minimal house, featuring smooth, spacey and sub-heavy slabs of tech-house funk marked out by cut-up psychedelic vocal snippets, intergalactic-sounding motifs and rubbery beats. Together, they have made significant contributions to respected imprints including Superfreq, RVDIOVCTIVE, Wildfamily, Staybad, Good Luck Penny, Intimate Project and Fine Mode, with their work consistently praised by DJs and tastemakers alike.
