NAEJ

Naej is a dedicated vinyl lover who has been playing it passionately and digging for it obsessively for more than five years. A Montpellier native at heart, she has cooked up her own signature sound that is infectious, groovy and designed to captivate the hearts and minds of her dance floors. She’s played a number of renowned venues including BPM, Antirouille and Pinata Radio, as well as sets at the cult Amazonas record store in Lisbon.

Her influences are diverse, ranging from electro to UK house and breakbeat from the 90s to the 2000s and she weaves them all together with real storytelling ability and a sense of musical colour and character. Naej is inspired by emerging collectives on the French and European underground scene, as well as labels such as Sentaku, Voiceless, Ba Dum, Dish, Shotgun, Outcast Torino and Tresydos. The artists who inspire her sound include the likes of  The Ghost, Sibil, Manipulate and Sugar Free, but always with her own twist.
