TESH

Carlos Mejia, also known as Tesh, is an accomplished musical curator and tasteful DJ who draws on his love of acid jazz, funk and soul. His career started more than a quarter of a century ago on the dance floors of New York and the radio waves of WSVA. He soon caught the attention of the great Francois K who enlisted Tesh to work alongside him in management and has organised countless underground electronic music and culture events while serving as a musical curator for various brands and venues. He has also held several residencies so is a proven musical encyclopedia whose knowledge cannot fail to level up your party or event.

Tesh returned home to his native Bogotá in 2017 before settling in Medellín. Since then, he has established LPO (aka Low Pitch Orchestra), a venture which specializes in musical curation for public spaces and events. As a DJ, he has spent endless hours behind the booth, consistently surprising audiences with delightful and delicate sounds from across the ages. He is a free musical spirit who never fails to make lasting connections.
