VZOO is a French artist deeply entrenched in the underground scene on many different levels. First and foremost he is a dedicated vinyl lover who is always digging for treasures – sometimes in new and contemporary realms, but also in the treasure trove of musical history that is the 80s and 90s. That lust for unknown gems carries over into his compelling DJ sets which join the dots between house, breaks, minimal, acid, electro and techno from across the ages and have made him one of the fastest-rising names in the game.
Based in his native South of France but also Ibiza and in the Alps, he has played plenty of different situations and is always able to read the floor and tell his own stories. As well as being a proven party starter with a cultured sound, he has been part of the vital Encasa collective since it started and helped to innovate within the tech house scene in France as part of that with events all over Europe. He has also recently launched his own Envog project – a tastemaking label and event series that hosts at Marseille’s Baby Club and is growing fast with a dedicated fan base. As such, VZoo is one of the driving forces in the French underground and is now set to make moves worldwide.
